Ah, ship wars. I managed to stay on the outskirts for most of the fandom drama, but Hermione/Harry versus Hermione/Ron was pretty unavoidable. I still stand by Harry/Ron/Hermione, though! I'm a little sad to hear all of this a decade later---I may agree with some of her comments about Hermione/Ron but she wrote that pairing into the books from the start. (I know we've had this conversation before!)
