Well, I first came across the word ‘bruja’ before I knew that in Spanish ‘j’ was pronounced with an ‘h’ sound, and because of the way my mind works, I kind of mentally added in an ‘n’ to the word so it sounded better in my head. So it’s my unique way of saying ‘red witch’.
