I am super unhappy about the fact that they're setting up a romance there. Reasons I don't like Rosa/Boyle:
I was so happy last week because I thought they were closing the door on this thing. Boyle even lampshaded it by explicitly apologizing to Rosa for his behavior! Then they pulled this move and I'm left with a sinking feeling, like, OH NO SHOW. You were doing so well. Whyyyy.
They are doing a pretty deft job with Jake/Amy, which I did not expect given how hard I rolled my eyes at the heavy-handed UST set-up in pilot. I still don't ship them ardently or anything, but I was expecting to cringe when they eventually went this route and instead, find myself surprisingly OK with it. Establishing a solid basis for their friendship first was a smart move.
