I really was worried about Charles and Rosa but I was so glad that they didn't go that route. I wonder if that was a last minute change - there has been a LOT of commentary on how gross Charles' fixation with Rosa is, and there were still hints up to this episode even that that hadn't been dropped. Changing the closing scene would have been easy too.
I kind of hope so, because it would mean that Charles/Rosa would likely be permanently dropped next season, but with Rosa's line about Charles being a good man and who she doesn't date good guys.... I dunno, that make me really worried.
The storyline with Jake and Amy was just amazing though! I loved every bit of it.
