My current favourite WIP is hunnyfresh's Letters From War (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1165427/chapters/2369580)--an AU where Emma is a soldier and Regina is mayor of Storybrooke who is encouraged by Sydney to be a pen pal to a soldier (guess who!) to contribute to her image.

There was also a slew of fun fics where Henry assumed Emma brought him to Storybrooke (when he didn't have his memories) because she was dating Regina. Most of the ones I was reading are unfinished (actually they all might be) though. But most of them had the pretend dating trope we're so fond of. Speaking of is there still a dearth of good Cap/Widow fic after WS?
