There was also a slew of fun fics where Henry assumed Emma brought him to Storybrooke (when he didn't have his memories) because she was dating Regina. Most of the ones I was reading are unfinished (actually they all might be) though. But most of them had the pretend dating trope we're so fond of.

Yes. It's so bad that I actually have a MULTI-CHAPTER Widow/Cap fic in the works. Do you know how often I write multi-chapters? Never. That's the answer. NEVER.
