Like, I make jokes about how Thor's great plan is to save the world by hugging, but FOR REAL. I am so sick of "dark" and "gritty", and the MCU is proving time and again that it can do Big Topics and still be a shining example of things we should WANT.

Agree. There is always a sense of hope in the MCU, which I feel is really vital to a good superhero story, even if it's not the primary emotion.
