She was taking Christmas requests earlier, and I requested some Naomi/L fic.
She came through in spades. Go. Read. Now. You won't regret it. "Nothing But The Blues" is a fantastic look at Naomi and her relationship with both L and Raye with a palpable sense of the gritty side of the holidays. Naomi's voice in this fic is perfect; she falls in love with ideas and stays in love with illusions, and it would take that kind of girl to love L.
"She was in love with a shadow and she was in love with a dream. She wanted the man on the telephone and she had the man in the bed, and she knew that the reality of each was nowhere near the dream or the shadow of either."
