Wow. This is new.

There is "plot" stuff that is more boring than the training sequences. I'm trying to decide if this is improvement.

(There was just the whole boring gatekeeper fight, I meet Gin, and now they're chatting in the village. Seriously, I think the last ten chapters could have been cut.)

It's basically: Ichigo is badass let my show you how, which has the result of making me totally not care and kills all sense of doubt about any fights Ichigo is in, ever.

Thank god the mangaka keeps cutting to Quincy and Orihime, that their prettiness distracts from the boredom.

3. Zuko. Because he can either behead the zombies or burn them to a nice crisp, won't back away from a fight just because the numbers are against him, and it all around awesome. I think we'd make it through the zombie apocalypse just fine together.
