Okay, so my first class got canceled so I'm going to catch up on poetry reading... and LJ. (We know which one is more important.)
Now, I'm a second generation trekkie - my first memory of watching TV is watching The Next Generation on my mom's old black & white TV in our living room. She was a fan of the original series and had watched them when they first aired (I'm pretty sure). I hadn't, and The Next Generation kinda spoiled me for TOS.
So, first off, I had pretty low expectations for this movie.

On the whole, the best movie I've seen since Iron Man. I left the theater wanting to watch it again.
