Okay, I realize I am epically (EPICALLY) behind on comments but I'm going to post a meme anyway, because I have an annoying, boring meeting that I have to attend later this morning, and I'm going to need something to obsessively refresh on my iTouch.

Fandom Tennis Match Meme:

Okay, here's how this is going to work. You comment with a fandom question. I answer it and then ask you a question that has some thematic relevance to the question you asked me.

Seriously. Hit me. Spam me with questions about characters, about pairings, about storytelling tropes, about upcoming media, etc., etc., etc. Be as specific, general, trashy, meta, and/or, insightful as you'd like.

In the past week, on three separate occasions I have had someone pitch something to me, and there is one sentence that makes me go, "HELL YES."

Someone (in real life) was talking about Lightning, by Dean Koontz: so there is a romance involving "a time-traveling nazi."

BOOM! Sold.

Then someone on my flist (I can't recall who) posted this.

BOOM! Sold.

Finally, [livejournal.com profile] musesfool on Arrow: PS: Please don't EVER stop having inappropriate chemistry with your little sister. Every time you have a scene together, I think it's going to end in wall-slamming sex.

BOOM! Sold.

Note, I have yet to read Lightning (but I downloaded the free kindle sample) or watch the pilot for Nashville or watch the pilot for Arrow but now they are without a question on my media-to-consume list.

I'd be interested to hear some of your BOOM! Sold moments, if you'd care to share.
