*attention whores*

I am bored and should be doing school work but am truly in want of a distraction.

Talk to me, please.

Real life, fandom, questions you've always wanted to ask - it's all fair game.

^^ Thank you. I've honestly been curious about Veronica Mars since I saw the commercials for it four years ago. I've heard good things about the father/daughter relationship on that show(partially from you), as well.

I had heard that about the declining quality of BSG. I'm starting to get a tad frustrated, after the decline of Alias, Lost. and Bones(that last one isn't too late for recovery..please?). I'm worried about Pushing Daisies, but that may be unfounded thus far. ^^;; The only show I know that made it through three seasons without decline or stagnation is Northern Exposure, and the stagnation started immediately after the amazing season three finale.

^^ Pushing Daisies is my favorite show right now. I just had to ask.

I especially love Caroline's relationship with the defense attorney. Unless I heard Booth wrong, he's her ex-husband that she's still on good terms with, right?

I'd say I agree with you, primarily about Toph, and I see I was wrong about you disliking her, per se. ^^ I wish they had done more with her emotions. I kind of feel like her development got screwed up from her being coddled so much that she rebelled as much as she did, leading to her becoming nearly uncontrollable. I feel like Bryke focused more on the cool stuff she could do than on her as a character, with the exception of "The Runaway."

The metal bending DID work, but she mastered it awfully quickly. I actually forgot about the sand-bending, to be honest. ^^;; I haven't spent too much time in the fandom, mostly in the Zutara fandom, to be honest, so I didn't know about them treating her that way. That's pretty contemptible.

Yeah, I hate how many shows are excellent in their first season and then start to go downhill.

I especially love Caroline's relationship with the defense attorney. Unless I heard Booth wrong, he's her ex-husband that she's still on good terms with, right?

I totally don't remember that, but you could be right.

I feel like Bryke focused more on the cool stuff she could do than on her as a character, with the exception of "The Runaway."

Exactly. The fandom does too, with the added bonus that the Toph/Sokka shippers bash Suki as well, which just pisses me off to no end.

The metalbending worked because it was mastered in intense circumstances, a la Katara's bloodbending. That she had previously been blind on sand and then mastered it with apparently no effort at all pissed me off.

^^;; Suki is one person who does NOT deserve bashing, whatsoever.

I think I remember..I think it was Angela, pointing out that Caroline and the defense attorney were very friendly to one another, and Booth commenting that they used to be married and they had a daughter, in college. It was in season two or early season three. Same defense lawyer as the one in 3.13

Oh, that's right! That is such a great character detail. Makes me curious as to why they broke up, and how it works out that they're so friendly.

You know, that could be a really fantastic fanfiction idea. *thinks about it* Most divorces I know end badly, so I'm curious about it as well.

Yeah, as I was talking that out, I was going, 'ooh, plotbunnies.'
