That's how I see it. As someone else phrased it, Kakashi has one unbreakable rule (protect your teammates) and Sasuke fucked that royally. Naruto is going to forgive Sasuke at the drop of a hat, Sakura will forgive him but never get rid of the nagging doubt that he's just going to betray them again, and Kakashi never going to trust that boy ever, every again.

Exactly. No amount of groveling or explaining on Sasuke's part (not that he'd ever do it) would let Kakashi fully forgive him.

Frankly, I have a really hard time with that. Kakashi strikes me as really, really fucking straight.

Maybe it's just me. To me, Kakashi reading porn = more sexually open, so I could kind of see him as being the "I'll try anything once" kind of person. Or maybe he was really drunk.

We just did a show up here in which the main character is really straight (in a lot of relationships and in general loves women) who admits, at one point, to have had "a homosexual experience," so that might color my perception a bit.

I don't see being curious about the other side of the fence as negating a person's being straight or gay, but then again I don't choose to define my own sexuality so I'm probably not the best person to talk about that.
