I'm still hoping because it's my favorite character and talking do your dead father?
Not a good sign.
Although it this is what 'year of Kakashi backstory' looks like I'm going to bang my head against the desk. Because we haven't learned anything we didn't already know, and I can't think of a way finding out more about Kakashi if he's dead wouldn't feel awkward.
I am so tempted to be like, 'OMG total fake out!' but...... you know, I'm starting to think this might not be.
[ETA: Okay, I'm going to cede to my denial and posit that Kakashi is totally in limbo (remember where suicides go!), but the whole, "Rin, Obito, Master... I'll be there soon... hi, Dad, let me talk to you for a very long time" strikes me as weird. Daddy's spirit is delaying him on his journey to the next world OMG!!!1111 so that Tsunade's slugs can reach him in time OMG!!!!!1111!!!!]
Reading this week by week sucks, because I just keep crossing my fingers and being all hope springs eternal about it.
I did like how front and center and looking adorable Sakura is in his memory.
And I have no idea what's going on with any of the rest of the chapter. Like, what the hell is that thing on the bottom of page four?
