From what we've heard of how the Heterodyne stories portray him, it likely only says Klaus made a bid for her hand, was rejected, and at best he might've gotten a smooch from her. And Agatha wouldn't even have thought of that much during her time with Gil, as she didn't know who her mother was.
Even then, there's less of an Odepial edge with Gil.
