KNOCK IT OFF WITH THE GUILT AND UNHAPPINESS, OKAY?

I mean, I know the December is a traditionally suicidal month but seriously.

Unless you have recently killed someone or kicked a puppy, there is no need for all the guilt.

You are all awesome, awesome people, and I am sick of seeing so posts about how you feel guilty for asking for things for Christmas or think you're a horrible person or think your flist is ready to cut you lose et cetera, et cetera.

Please, take a moment to inhale deeply, calm down, and realize the awesomeness that is you.

Now I'm going to get back into my bed and brood over how crappy I feel and the script I need to finish tonight.

I'm glad someone else finally recognizes my genius! I keep telling people that I'm the best person on the planet, but I'm always met with incredulous stares!


In all seriousness, though, if you are ever feeling depressed, talk to someone. There are plenty of people who you can talk to with help lines, school counselors, religious leaders, or just about anyone. Try not to get wrapped up in the tunnel vision. If you look at the big picture and try to shift the focus off of you, you may do yourself a world of good. Not only could you help others, but help yourself. Every person cracks under extreme scrutiny.
