Well, it WAS one of those things I wrote and then pondered. I wanted to show EXACTLY how turned on Kakashi was, and the I wrote that and went, 'okay, this seems very dog-like to me; is it too Kiba?' and I went back and forth with if that facial expression belonged to someone else but, on the other hand, Kakashi has dogs, so....

And then I left it it.

As for reading to much into something - while you CAN hit that wall, I maintain that it's rather hard to do.
