There are so many different kinds of feminism, and that's part of the problem. I like to think that the women who say they aren't feminists are saying they aren't the 'bad' sort - the stereotype. I often don't call myself one for this reason. I always tell people I'm for equal rights, and that covers all my bases. I want equal rights for everyone, not just those of my gender.
But I know exactly what you're saying. I really don't understand the women who honestly believe they're second-class.
