I sawe a different translation of that line (by HissouBairiKen) http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=479227:
"Pain: I believe it was just like this for me... Watching my parents die before my eyes, as you've watch Leaf Shinobi die before yours."
This makes more sense to me than SleepyFans' translation because I couldn't understand why Nagato, Yahiko and Konan would be begging food off the Three Sanin, and then ask one of them to be their Sensei if Leaf Shinobi had killed their parents.
