TUTU SPOILERS

I love talking about PT! Warning, longish post below because I babble, oh I babble.

Ahiru ALSO spends the entire series crushing on and loving Mytho, and Fakir has never SAID anything to the effect of 'I like Ahiru' (quite the opposite in fact).

My interpretation of canon was stronger than that, since I'd say into the second half of the series Ahiru's motives have clearly shifted from being romantic about Mytho to wanting to protect him--and her desire to "protect" his "wonderful purity of love" (or whatever) was part of her feelings from the start, equal to and eventually overtaking her idol crush on him.

Oddly, very few things in PT are explicitly stated, and a lot of it is interpretation, but that's something that I enjoyed about it. With other shows I might need a verbal confirmation of "I love you/I love you too" to officially dub it canon, but with PT I don't. Fakir called her his princess, they were more honest with each other than with anyone else in the show, and they danced The Climactic Dance Of Emotion...in PT, pas de deux=expressing your love, as equal to a verbal expression.

But taken out of the context (is that possible?) without the pas de deux at the end, I could agree that it's not canon. PT is unique for me in that I willingly accept non-spoken gestures as having the same canon validity as spoken words, since so much of the story is built and executed on that premise.
