Things like this are why I love Soul/Maka. And Soul Eater in general.
Also, Stein/Marie is totally my preferred Stein pairing. I mean, Medusa/Stein is hot, but bitches who torture their children don't get Mad-Scientist love in my book. I started shipping Stein/Marie when they came out of the time vortex and he reached for her hand, and then, this happened.
Yeah, Ngyus, Stein TOTALLY has not love in him, uh-huh, right.
Also, while I was enjoying the anime, at this moment I feel like the manga is more authentic to the characters. I love all the shibusen teachers letting Stein go simply because they trust him, and the way the Chrona reveal works out in the manga gives Maka a much stronger and more understandable reason for her moment of indecision. Also, another 'Maka is the boss of Soul' when he asks what's wrong, asks if he should even know, and she's like, 'you shouldn't, I'll tell you tomorrow' and he just accepts it.
