1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on ...
1) If you were to write and publish a first novel, what sort of story would it be?
I can't tell you. Sorry. I actually have two novels that I'm working on at the moment but for emotional, legal and professional reasons, I can't get into specifics, in case someone who reads my lj now reads comes across my book in two years and connects
redbrunja with my real name. Race!fail taught me several things but the most immediate was that I need to be WAY more paranoid about keeping my fandom life and my real one separate.
I can promise that there will be badass ladies and a dash of romance, though.
2) What characters do you tend to gravitate towards in general, and why?
There is a Japanese proverb that goes, "fall down seven times, get up eight" which I think fits every character I've ever really, really loved. They're the characters who keep trying, who have a goal and attempt it, even if it seems impossible. Also, they have a core of steel inside, regardless of how tough the rest of the world views them.
3) What subjects are you most interested in reading?
Academically or for pleasure? Academically, I'm loving all my course reading - it's developmental psychology and gothic literature aka the interesting lit.
For pleasure, I'm a sci-fi/fantasy girl, although I branch out a lot into mystery and romance.
4) How would you go about in writing out a fanfic, particularly when you feel uninspired?
That depends. If I have story ideas that I want to write but I'm just not feeling inspired, I'll write out all the details I can think of, and worry about making it flow and be interesting to read when I'm feeling more creative. When I don't know what I want to read, I meme.
5) What would be your current top ten favorite books?
Kitty and the Midnight Hour, Alanna: The First Adventure, Glass Houses, Tramps Like Us, War For The Oaks, Just Listen, Dime Store Magic, Faking It, Into The Storm, Blood & Chocolate.

Who did you come across Life?
Favorite Veronica Mars pairing.
What pairings do you like in Life?
Favorite Buffy episode.

Did Irina cheating on Jack make sense to you? (Alias)
With Arvin Sloane? No, it made no sense at all and I felt like JJ Abrams just put it there for shock value. On the other hand, I eventually came to like Nadia... still I wish they hadn't done the Sloane/Irina story line.
Who did you come across Life?
Like almost all things, I found it through LJ:) For me, LJ is the best source to find out about new shows/manga/books. And Life isn't any different, I started noticing
Favorite Veronica Mars pairing.
Of course there's the obligatory Logan/Veronica (though not so much in the 3rd season) but I'm really fond of Keith Mars/Alicia Fenell and I hated that they broke this up.
What pairings do you like in Life?
Heh. This is easy for me, Crews/Reese. Started out as a non-ship ship where I only wanted them together off screen and in the future the progressed to shipping them on the third season.
Second pairing which I'm fond of, for no other reason than I think it'd be interesting Ted/Amanda Puryer. An ex-business shark and a current savvy and femme fatale shark? Veeeery interesting.
Favorite Buffy episode.
Ooh. Now, this is hard. Um. It's either Becoming or The Wish.

Agreed. And I like Nadia as well, even though some of the writing choices they made around her did not make sense.
You know, I like vonnie_k got me into Life as well. Picspam of the first episode, I believe.
And Ted/Amanada would be VERY interesting. I really like how she couldn't quite play him as well as she wanted to.
Becoming is an excellent Buffy episode and the ending scene of The Wish? "Because it has to be." OMG.
