Ah, LKH. Yeah, vampire books are another reason I'm picky. I actually didn't get into UF until LKH already had a reputation for jumping the shark. I was working in a bookstore at the time and a coworker who read them was telling me about them, and another was listening and snatched the book from my hands and said I was too innocent to read them. (Never mind all the romance novels I'd bought...)
