Don't you hate it when you read an excellently written fic that destroys the nakama? And then you're like, 'no, no! They love each other! Really, they do!'

3.) Fi is in trouble, Michael isn't picking up... so Madeline ends up helping Fiona get out of trouble, leaving epic destruction in her wake.
2.) PWP that has Michael and Fiona screwing in the backseat of the charger. Plus either actually fixing the car pre or post coitis.
1.) Michael gets his job back and heads back to the Middle East. Sam starts up a PI business helping the helpless and Fiona gets him to pay through the nose for her help and plays poker and gets drunk with Maddie, and then after a while (probably at least a year, because he's stubborn) Michael ends up back in Miami because his job just isn't as fun anymore - life in general isn't as much fun anymore without his friends and family.
If I may meta about this show for a moment, I know status quo is god, but I really hope we get to see Michael get his burn notice revoked at some point so that the ending can be Fi and Sam and Maddie and Michael having wacky hijinks in Miami. Like Zuko, to be satisfied, I think Michael is going to need to get what he wants to discover that he doesn't want it anymore.
Either that, or get enough cachet with the Agency so he can pick his own team and drag Fi and Sam off to go globe-trotting with him.
