Oh, Vampire Diaries why must you keep killing characters I like?

I know everyone else disliked Vicki but I loved her and her white-trash issues. I approve of girls who are that bitchy and self-destructive and broken.

In other news, Damon was deliciously sociopathic, and Damon/Elena suddenly ...began to be appealing.

Damon is rather delicious. Stephan...broods really well. I think he took lessons from early Angel.

The series is quite different from the books, but not in a bad way. Much like with True Blood, the show gives us more background characters, and it gives them more story. Though, I think I like the books' Bonnie better.

He does. He's also AMUSING with both his brooding and his personality, which gives him an edge over Angel, imho.
