Hmmm, a couple of these haven't been reposted outside the original giftfic comms yet, looks like...
Things We Can't Untie (http://sharpeslass.livejournal.com/tag/fanfiction:saiyuki:sanzo/lirin) Sanzo/Lirin, AU in late-1970s Ireland -- there's a little bit of 585 around the edges of this one, but mostly off-camera. While there's a fair bit of humor given the personalities of the characters involved, there's also some fairly serious stuff going on behind the crackiness of the main pairing.
Sorrow Floats (http://despina-moon.livejournal.com/tag/sorrow%20floats) -- AMAZING epic Gojyo/Kanan, NOT AU -- I love the characterization in this one, it's one of the best portrayals I've seen of a Kanan who lives up to Hakkai's reminiscing of her fearlessness. There's no weak-and-weepy meekness here, this is a fierce, strong-minded Kanan who clearly has a lot more in common with her twin than just looks. There's a little bit of 585 in the present-day framing, but it doesn't go into anything more explicit on-screen than kisses and if you skip the prologue and epilogue you can avoid even that if need be.
Fundamental Difference (http://community.livejournal.com/valentine_smut/44164.html) -- locked to valentine_smut, a really nice take-charge Yaone-POV Gojyo/Yaone. jedishampoo also has a few other very nice Saiyuki het pieces here (http://jedishampoo.livejournal.com/tag/fanfiction:%20saiyuki:%20het).
Good Intentions (http://community.livejournal.com/valentine_smut/36674.html) -- heartbreakingly poignant Gojyo/Kanan, also locked to valentine_smut.
