I LOVE the Percy Jackson novels. Although I have Thoughts on the last one. Still this is a very, very fun series. And once you bring gender politic in it, it very much feels like the way Harry Potter would have been written, had it been done by a guy. The pacing and the POV are just SO MALE (not in a bad way! Just in a O.o way) and yet really interesting. I also LOVE that the rest of the series keeps it in Percy's perspective. Let me know when you've got more of the series in the bag and we can chat.
