See ... I saw the movie without reading the books. And, minus the very fine selection of eye candy, it was bad. Like, so bad it made me not want to read the books and see if they were better.

And hearing this now from you ... I'm three times the sadder now. I love Greek mythology, so this series (had any of it been done well) would have been right up my alley. But the movie sucked, and now hearing about yet another cop out prophecy and shoddy ending? Sorry, but no. I was disappointed enough with the way Harry Potter ended, thank you very much.
