I think that she's an extraordinary person trying to be ordinary (mostly because her extraodinariness is showing through the supernatural-induced trauma conga line the show's putting her through)

I know. The doppleganger has really elevated her into someone who it makes sense to build a show around (instead of just a randomly special Ordinary Girl who is capnip to vampires) and I adore how clever she is. When she doesn't know something, she damn well gets her evil vampire double to tell her.
