Hakkai x Yaone is my OTP, not question, but I still think Gojyo/Yaone could work.
And I kind of disagree about Gojyo always being a womanizer. I have no doubt that if he ever actually fell in love, he would be totally faithful. You know those Sha men and their promises. Plus, based on his works on the bridge scene, I think Gojyo doesn't want to be living the same life in their 40s as much as Hakkai doesn't. (I know, that sentence is horrible, but I don't want to take the time to rewrite it.)
But Gojyo would always flirt, and I think Yaone would both know he'd never cheat and still worry about him getting tired of her and moving on. But that just provides the lovely angst we adore!
So, in conclusion, I think Yaone would pick Hakkai, unless she was thrown together with Gojyo do to circumstances but bottemline, she'd be happy with either of them, long term. (or, you know, both. ^_^)
