Oh yes. When I was teenager, I totally identified with Sarah and felt everyone was picking on her unfairly. As an adult, I understand that she needed to be prodded in order to move forward with her life.
I've never been in an equal relationship, although I always wanted one. Nope. It always ended up with me making the sacrifices and becoming resentful, and him never being satisfied and dumping me anyway.
I think either Genjyo and I would argue all the time, or I would annoy the hell out of him by chattering too much. Either way, I would likely fall into the same trap of giving in to him just to keep him. So we're back to square one.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm better off alone. *sigh*
