"I Am Universally Recognized As A Mature & Responsible Adult...."

Literally four months behind everyone else, spurred on by the great trailers for the new season, I finally watched The Eleventh Doctor's  Christmas Special. Which I enjoyed but had mixed feelings about:

What I didn't like:

–the mechanics of the time travel

–the lack of Amy Pond

What I did like:

–the romance

–young!Kazran being adorable

–teenage Kazran being smoking hot.

–Amy and Rory dressing up as a police officer and Roman centurian, respectively. Goddamn, Amy's hot in her kiss-o-gram outfit. That said, I still feel cheated with regards to that relationship.

Kazran, why so awesome? Adorable kid, hot teenager, HUGGABLE OLD GUY. No wonder Abigail was all for him. ;D

(The messy with the timelines made my head hurt. I still don't quite understand how it's meant to have worked. If at all?)

The time travel actually doesn't work by ANY MEASURE and actively contradicts things we've learned about time travel in previous episodes.

I have to say, Moffet's biggest weakness seems to be going for what is most dramatic and ignoring logic and rules of the universe already in place.
