Oh, Ava is definitely a wild thing but while I think both she and Raylan had a lot of illusions about their relationship, I think they cared about either other a good deal. Ava was really hurt by their breakup and I think Raylan was a bit too, so I wouldn't label it just a sex thing. That said, Ava's relationship with Boyd feels a LOT different and lot more real.
