Maybe a little Willie Nelson, for that sort of hard-living, sleeping-around but still romantic at heart under it all vibe, too. And Johnny Cash is a must, that man's coolness just transcends genre.

And Prince has a very Gojyo-on-the-prowl vibe to me in that even at his dirtiest, there's still a very teasing wittiness about it all and an emphasis on flattering the target of his attentions and promising her a very good time. I just cannot hear bits like "let me show you, baby, I'm a talented boy" without picturing them as winking Gojyo pickup lines. ;)
