Community was eh. There were some funny jokes but on the whole, I'm predicting that this season is going to be a lot like last season, i.e., the quality will be very uneven and there will be too much 'let me give you Jeff x Annie fanservice and LAUGH AT YOUR SHIPPING' and lots of Britta-bashing and not enough actually funny, amazing episodes.
Parks and Rec, on the other hand, WAS TWENTY MINUTES OF PERFECTION. Leslie fucking Knope. Goddamn woman, I'd vote for you. (Sidenote: I am very bitter about politics right now, to the point that I am considering not voting next election. However after watching this, I realized that if I DO feel like voting for any candidate would be a waste of time, I am going to put "Leslie Knope" on my ballot.)
This I loved about this episode:
–Everything with Ron fucking Swanson. The cabin, the go bag, the scenes with Leslie. Everything.
–They casted Tammy One brilliantly and that she's with the IRS is unbelievably perfect.
–Ann having a really in-character and comedic plot of her own.
–That there was another joke with Jerry that was not completely, balls-to-the-wall spiteful.
As for TVD, let me start by talking about the five minutes that was actually relevant to my interests.Which was OH MY FUCKING GOD HRG IS CAROLINE'S DADDY AND HE'S CHAINED HIS LITTLE GIRL UP. OMFG. Also, Tyler, you get an A++ for being ridiculously into fuck yes Caroline Forbes and standing up for her against Mrs Lockwood.
re: Jeremy and Matt. Matt's comment about not knowing what his last moment with Vicki was (BECAUSE WHEN SHE WAS A VAMPIRE SHE WAS JUST A MONSTER, A MONSTER! ....DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE, SO CLEARLY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING HUMAN AND BEING VAMPIRE IS JUST VAST) made me want to smack him. God, what a dick. Jeremy continues to bore and I am super-pissed that it's looking like Vicki is going to be villianized by the narrative.
Everything that Damon, Stefan, and stupid-hybrid-face Klaus touched was either a.) terrible or b.) made no sense or c.) both. Like, Elena and Alaric were totally being awesome together until stupid Damon and his stupid crazy eyes showed up and made everything TERRIBLE and STUPID (sidenote: was anyone else rooting for Alaric and Elena to totally make out in that car? No? Just me?).
