As any good parent would be. I personally don't care who my future children go out with as long as their life doesn't go down the tubes in the process.
By the way, why do so many people hate Scott? I have no personal feelings about Scott myself because I'm usually squeeing over Wolverine/Rogue or the other characters, so did I miss something? Apart from the fact that he can be quite useless? The parents make a good point about Jean, if I were her mother I'd be worried about the fact that she always seems to die while Scott is around.
