Y'know, the entire situation with Regina sending Charming to get Henry made me realize that if he'd simply gone to lunch with her and asked for her to help out, pointing out that doing so would be a good path to redemption, she'd simply go along with it. And be able to tell Henry which boxes would be useful and which would possibly kill him.
