THE BRILLIANCE THAT IS TONY AND PEPPER AND THAT THE WRITERS ARE ACTUALLY USING SET PATTERNS IN ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR AND INTERACTION WITH LOVED ONES,
Have you seen these deleted scenes:
On one hand I am SUPER glad was deleted because it was more 'Natasha is a sexual threats, sexy' which, ALL MY RAGE, LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TERRIBLE AND CLICHE THAT IDEA WAS WITH MY FIST AGAINST YOUR FACE but on the other hand really regret, because it shows the audience so much in such a short section just how horrible Pepper must be feeling, that Tony is behaving WORSE than he has in years if ever and she's being replaced in (what is canonically) the most significant relationship in her life.
(Also, this scene does give me so much affection for Rhodney.)
Also, best romantic comedy of the last ten years, BAR NONE.
SO TRUE. Do you know how rare it is to find a couple who babbles at each other? Not snark, not quips, just babbling? Ugh, those two. It's like they spend two movies trying to drown their feelings in sheer volume of words.
