Honestly, I would have liked to see Leslie not get the longer pool hours she wanted to have that douchebag's true colors shown.

I would have liked to see that too, though I think this also showed how naive and fresh Leslie is. She doesn't realize, quite yet, how hard it's going to be not get everything she wants because politics works differently than the Parks Department.
