but the jist of it was that for a Thor and Loki, that they would be Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin, so that when they appear in the storyline it has the same "crawled out of myths and legends" effect.

I also feel like Ravenclaw for Maria? If only because I see her as a moral but fiercely logical character, meaning she would pay any price to get the outcome that will help the most people. She cares, but she doesn't let her emotions dictate the decisions she makes. Which is where her counterpoint to Fury comes in, since he is willing to take a gamble on his gut instincts.
That makes a lot of sense. Fury is DEFINITELY a Gryffindor.
