Also, I’m been watching some of the most recent Lydia videos and-

Note, NONE of what I am about to say is meant to excuse or counterbalance the fact that George is a complete user.

-goddamn does that boy look like a good kisser! Like, on an aesthetic level, him and Lydia exchanging sweet, sleepy kisses was adorbs!

…also, weirdly, the fact that they either a.) haven’t had sex or b.) haven’t had sex since that one time in Vegas is freaking me the fuck out. Because sleeping platonically together SOUNDS so wonderful and respectful of Lydia and yet I know that George is 100% bad news (the fact that he’s blowing off his relationship with Lizzie and discouraging Lydia from reaching out says it all right here NOT TO MENTION HIS RIDICULOUS REVISIONIST HISTORY).

What is your game, Wickem? What vile, depraved, emotionally destructive jackassery is waiting in store for Lydia? (I am kind of on the edge of my seat to see how Lydia's story is adapted.)

I haven't watched the last couple of Lydia vids, but all I see when I look at gif sets of her videos is how she is progressively become less vibrant. Almost literally, as not only is she not as bubbly she's drained of colour. She's also becoming smaller. In Lizzie's videos, and in her own earlier ones, she took up so much space, not only with her personality but physically as well. There were huge arm gestures and loud noises. But she's increasingly curling in on herself with Wickham. He is squashing the life out of that girl. Oh, baby girl.

I can't figure out what Wickham's game is. Convoluted anti-Darcy revenge plot?

Lydia is making me SO NERVOUS. I wondered if Darcy's grand gesture would be some sort of payment for medical stuff? I always forget that that's an issue in the US, and it's not SUPER DRAMATIC, but...maybe?

And I think Gigi just...didn't think. Or realized it too late, and Bing didn't think.

AND THE HOT TUB. I do not want to know.

of course you watch the lizzie bennet diaries. haha yay omg i love your come-back that lizzie should have used about skiiing. that whole episode was so awkward and overly weird. haha.

also: ugh //// am i the only one that likes this version of wickham? like i get he is horrible with money and dickey to lizzie and darcy but it seems like he's being genuine to lydia and they're happy.... i feel like a bad person liking them since everyone thinks their relationship is so horrible. like i get it GETS horrible but right now it seems like a good relationship.

i had to stop watching those because they made me really sad, and it was just hard to watch lydia's downfall (or what sounds like the beginnings of it anyway). unless the main videos don't give me enough information i doubt i'll ever actually watch them.

The fact that Wickham looks like an awesome dudely man to cuddle and a great kisser and says things that SOUND sweet really is wigging me out. If I didn't know what was going on I'd be shipping it so fast and yikes. But. Goddamn, sir.

Okay, so I've really been suspicious of them NOT having sex. I had expected they fucked in Vegas (maybe they did, but there's no definiitive indication) but not since they started dating? And here's the thing- as far as we know from what Lydia and Lizzie have both said, Lydia is not exactly prudish. She sleeps with guys. She doesn't always practice safe sex, allegedly. And now she's with George, and... they're NOT having sex? That's really out of character for Lydia. Like, to the point where I'm wondering if that's some of George controlling her life, convincing her that she uses one night stands to avoid intimacy with guys so therefore he won't have sex with her until she's all his. I don't know if that's exactly the explanation, but I am pretty certain Lydia would go ahead and have sex, George has no qualms about what ladies he fucks, and Lydia is ceding more and more control to him, so I'm thinking them not having sex is all on him. And there's a specific reason for it.
