I've also seen some interesting rants about racial subtext with the rather regrettable wigs they use for Teyla on the show (for comparison, her gorgeous natural hair looks more like this (http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f203/DebraDownSth/OtherActors/RachelLuttrellWOSF.jpg), but they're all f-locked.
