Fix What's Broken

Given that I have hated every change yahoo has recently made and my 'real life' email has had issues with not sending emails out, I'm thinking about switching free email providers. Thus far, I've tried gmail (don't like the interface) and while I like the interface of web mail much better, it makes me type in a captcha thing each time I want to send an email (hugely inconvenient).

Anyone have any recommendations?

what specifically about the gmail interface do you not like? it's been a long time since i had the basic one, but if it's just the background you can change that. currently i have a "planets" theme that's pretty cool.

If you set up an about.me online business card they give you an email address with it, I don't know how good the service is but a friend of mine who is picky about her email has been using that account for well over a year now, so it might be worth looking into.

When I was an undergrad my school used a Zimbra collaboration, and I really liked that interface. I think there is a version of Zimbra (Zimbra desktop?) that you can download for free, but I tried it once and didn't get very far with it. That may be due more to unmotivation, though, given that my access to my old school Zimbra webmail still hasn't expired....

Thanks for the tip!

I felt like all the content was scrunched down at the bottom right of the browser window.
