Yeah, I'm not a big fan, either. High school AUs? I hardly ever read them. I am not really big into AUs in general, unless they are exploring something interesting in canon, like a "what-if" kind of thing, or like the kind of thing that has been happening in DC fandom lately where having characters from before the reboot is sort of technically an AU.
