I feel like for my first post of March I should have something epic! (Lives ruined, blood shed) but I don't. No brilliant ideas for a post. Instead, you have scattered thoughts.

[+] I have the worst luck with fannish swag. Beyond, like, two pieces of fanart (that aren't even hung up at the moment) I have regretted every. single. fannish-specific thing that I have ever bought. My mind keeps trying to tally up all the money I've spent on swag at cons and it's really depressing. And I really want to have, like, cool geeky t-shirts but I feel like that is just throwing good money after bad. There are two exceptions: my Firefly t-shirts (a gift), which I wore to rags, and my Sai doll, which was the best twenty-first b-day girl could ask for (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] backtothesea You rock.) So the moral is, I shouldn't buy myself fannish swag. UNFORTUNATELY, I DON'T HAVE  SUGAR DADDY, so I'm S.O.L. on that front. (My bad luck in this even extends to buying OTHER people fannish swag.)

[+] I hate job hunting. It's the worst.

[+] I feel like a Stark Industries vibrator would be either the best or the worst. (Orgasms for world peace!) And now I'm imagining Tony building Pepper a vibrator. Pre-Iron Man it would be:
Pepper: "Mr. Stark, this is a completely inappropriate gift."
Tony: "I'm being helpful and considerate, Ms. Potts. I know you don't have time to date. Fine, if you don't want it..."

And after they start dating it would Tony would present her with this red and gold and arc!reactor-ed (that would be where you change the setting) MONSTROSITY.
Tony: For when you miss me and my penis while I'm on missions.
Pepper: That's the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. Also, you're not as good at engineering vibrators as [blah, blah, company in Sweden].

[+] In case you're not watching the recs at unfitforsociety, you should be. Especially if you're an Avengers fan. There's always a mix of pairing and the most recent post has some great Steve/Darcy fics.

[+] When watching this Thursday's LBD, I have to admit that I was suckered in for a minute. I believed that Jane was going to go off to New York alone. And while I'm sort of (?) glad she and Bing got back together, I really loved the idea of the writers making a right turn with Jane's narrative and having her go off to New York alone, having turned Bing down. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, thus far we have seen kisses between Lydia and Wickham and Jane and Bing. There is NO FUCKING EXCUSE for not showing us Darcy's mouth on Lizzie's mouth.

[+] This is a fabulous LBD fanart. Congratulations on the rest of your life, Lizzie B.

Hah, cackling at this! Is that a thing? Is Sweden the prime vibrator country? I suppose there are worse claims to fame. XD

Ah man, I completely forgot about LBD on Thursday! *Watches it now* Yeah no, there's no fucking way they're cheating us out of a Lizzie/Darcy kiss now, the shippers would burn Utica to the ground and I would lead the charge and light the match.
I'm glad Bing and Jane got back together and that it was on her terms.

My only feelings on Jane and Bing were in relation to the fact that there was on screen kissing. Which is sad. Everything about that series makes me so sad now.

I'll admit I also really enjoyed finding out about Bing dropping out of med school. Not only to explain why the heck he can travel around so much but it also gives him and his story some more depth to it, and makes his disappearance and re-appearance more believe-able. Plus- Jane being strong and having Opinions and kisses.

Cackling at the vibrator convos. Oh my god Tony, I love you, but you're in no way capable of building better vibrators than Lelo. (Which is indeed Swedish! :D)

That's sad about your fannish swag. You should let a friend who is a good gift buyer type and knows your interests buy fannish stuff for you. :p I try not to buy any fannish stuff unless it's something I can use more than once like I have plenty of t-shirts and a couple hoodies (Batman one and a Gryffindor one) and I have a Star Trek beach towel. I also collect playing cards for things I like since they're easy to store and inexpensive. I wish they'd make more zipper pulls because I'd get way more use out of those. Bookmarks or stickers of art are good buys at cons since they're not expensive. Thinkgeek is a good place to get fannish stuff that is also useful. Like for x-mas I got my friend a Tardis-shaped cookie jar for her new house.

Also I'm sure you've read it 'cause it's by the author of Almost No One Makes it Out but she wrote a drabble where Tony makes Pepper a vibrator. XD Found here. (http://archiveofourown.org/works/73285)

I suck at getting fan swag too. :( The only thing I love, love, love is my Zuko/Katara fan buttons, fanart I got from Irrel, my "I love Jack Sparrow" necklace (I'm not even sure if it's rusted yet though) and the Sailor Moon key chains I got. I've bought some pretty unfortunate plushies. Your Sai doll sounds cool though. :3

A+ Stark industries vibrator tangent. It should at least be a pair of deleted scenes.

Unf, that fanart. Unf, Lizzie is wearing Dacy's shirt (etc etc etc)
