People are so mean to actresses for no reason. I saw an article about "hate-watching" the other day and it opened with this rant about Anne Hathaway and how fake-self-deprecating she supposedly was. I was like, please shut up, newspaper man.

O_O How can you hate Anne Hathaway? She openly supports gay rights, she didn't reveal how she lost all that weight for Les Mis because she was afraid copy-cat dieters would adopt unhealthy eating habits, and she constantly calls out the media on how it objectifies women. And on top of all that, she seems like a super nice lady.

I mean, there's a lot of people I really, really dislike in the media but at least I base those opinions on things those celebrities have actually done. I don't think I can think of one example of how Anne Hathaway deserved such a mean spirited comment.
