See, this attitude, I can respect. She's bad and she owns it, which makes for an awesome and complicated character.

On the other hand, Once Upon A Time is pissing me off. I don't like where they're going with Regina's character. She does terrible things, then whines about how no one loves her. The storyline is not doing her justice at all.

She's the Evil Queen for a reason. She should accept that she's the bad guy and that because of that choice no one is ever going to love her, and choose power, like her mother did, or she should renounce her evil ways, and try to seek redemption, and in doing so, find the love and family that she craves. She's been the villain for a long time now, yet she still hasn't figured out that she can't have it both ways, and that just makes her look like an idiot.

I like the show overall, I'm just not impressed with how the Storybrooke side of things has always played out like a really angsty (and often boring) soap opera.

Well, I have more sympathy for Regina because:

1.) I'm several episodes behind, but I think a lot of your frustration with "Regina" trying to have it both ways is the writers not being willing to commit to either and

2.) I feel like Regina turned to evil after being backed into a corner and has NEVER gotten what she wants or what will make her happy, REGARDLESS of whether she's being good or bad.

That said, there is something deliciously enjoyable about a bad girl who just owns it (a la Kate Argent or Bela).
