It's possible that Elementary has become one of those shows that I have become extra-picky over...because I love it, and because it is so consistently awesome. :)
*nods* I'm still bitter about that one line of Sherlocks about how most women are easy to figure out blah blah, something about perfume. Irene being the only women he loved/eclipsing the rest of the gender - that actually works for me. The idea that Sherlock is so fucking oblivious to the mixed social/societal pressures/IDEA THAT WOMEN ARE PEOPLE seems NOT ONLY sexist but actually OUT OF CHARACTER. As I said to myself at the time, 'fucking writers, women in general are not going to be ANY MORE BORING to Sherlock than DUDES IN GENERAL are.'
