Ouch. I mean, I know Kirk/Spock is one of the oldest ships in Fandom As We Know It, but still.
Spock/Kirk (Uhura) Things like this are...ah. On the one hand, I'm glad people care enough about the lady characters not to just push them out of fandom entirely or cliff them or whatever, but it's annoying to be filtering the "X lady character" tag and be like, slash, slash, WHY IS SHE IN SO MANY SLASH STORIES DOES HER LIFE REVOLVE AROUND MAKING BOYS KISS? Which is why being able to exclude tags and categories is always fun.
I always feel really bratty about stuff like this, too. Like, I am not trying to say, "gay ships go away only ladies matter" or whatever it sounds like I am saying, it's just some fandoms seem to have been completely taken over by slash pairings.
