- but I sort of choke on stories where Pepper dumps Tony in the first paragraph for being unable to give her a normal life, just to get her out of the way for Tony/Steve. (And this in stories set after IM3!)

Ugh! Did they not see how massively supportive and commited to each other Pepper and Tony are at the end of the movies? Do they not realized that Pepper is 100% aware of who Tony is and has been for years?
